  24. Kermit-95 does not place any limits on the nubmber of COMx: ports 
  25. which may be used.  Each port is opened as a file device.  So as long
  26. as you are able to install your COM ports so that Windows can give 
  27. them unique names, IO ports, and IRQs you should be fine.

  29. There is an artificial limit in the Dialer of 8-ports.  But for a Server
  30. configuration as described above it is unlikely that the Dialer would be 
  31. involved.
